Welcome to Farndale Estate Holiday Cottages. Our luxury self-catering cottages in the heart of the North York Moors National Park enjoy stunning views down the dale and of the moors beyond. The area of Farndale is best known for its annual springtime display of wild daffodils, which carpet the banks of the River Dove from Low Mill to Church Houses.

We have eleven beautifully appointed self-catering cottages in North Yorkshire, all furnished to a five-star standard with free parking and Wi-Fi, sumptuous fabrics and sympathetically restored features.

The Cottage (Sleeps 4)

A newly renovated and refurbished 2-bed luxury cottage (both with en-suite), which sleeps 4, in the North York Moors. Full of character, with its own garden, drive and parking. All rooms have free WiFi.

The Old Vicarage (Sleeps 12)

Charmingly cosy, yet spacious The Old Vicarage is the jewel in the crown.  A newly refurbished 6 bedroom house, sumptuously decorated with beautiful furnishings.  5 double en-suite bedrooms and a bunk room provide the most amazing warm, yet elegant place to stay.

East Steading (Sleeps 4)

East Steading sleeps 4 and is a luxury holiday cottage in the North York Moors. Full of character and with great views across the dales from every room, doors open to a patio area with a picnic table and recliner chairs.

West Steading (Sleeps 4)

West Steading sleeps 4 and has a fantastic open plan kitchen and lounge with double height ceilings, exposed timber beams and log burner. Doors either side of the room open onto the outside area.

The Stables (Sleeps 4)

The Stables is a luxury two bedroom cottage in the North York Moors and is all on one level. As the name suggests, it was originally a stable block and still retains the old stable doors on the outside. Inside you will find a fully equipped fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

West View Cottage (Sleeps 6)

West View Cottage sleeps 6 and was originally a farmhouse.
It maintains many of its unique features, such as cast iron range fireplace in the kitchen and also a large stone trough in the downstairs bathroom.

Hollins Garth (Sleeps 8)

A newly renovated charming cottage, with beautiful far reaching views over the Dale. This stone cottage, above the small hamlet of Low Mill, is the perfect place for family holidays. The property has 4 bedrooms, sleeping 8 guests in total. Off-road parking for 2 cars.

The Coach House sleeps 2 and is a lavishly spacious cottage for a couple wishing to relax in a rural setting. The living room is lovely and light thanks to big glazed barn doors to gaze out across the farm yard to the North York Moors beyond

Farndale is a beautiful dale located in the heart of the North York Moors National Park and getting here from either the north or south is easy. With great road links from the A1 and A19 take the A170, which takes you through picturesque countryside and quaint traditional English villages. Turning off the A170 following signs for Castleton, once you are on top of the moor there will be signs for Farndale and then to Church Houses.

 

With great access to endless places to eat and things to do, Farndale Estate Holiday Cottages really have something for everyone.
