The Stables is a luxury two bedroom cottage in the North York Moors and is all on one level. As the name suggests, it was originally a stable block and still retains the old stable doors on the outside. Inside you will find a new fully equipped fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

This beautiful stable conversion has full height ceilings, lounge with dining area, fully equipped kitchen, two light and airy double bedrooms and a shower room.

Each room in the property has individually controlled under floor heating. There is free off street parking to the side of the cottage. Smart TV in lounge and freesat in bedrooms, together with free Wi-Fi throughout.

Outside

Take in the view of the dale from the garden accessed to the side of the property, complete with picnic bench.

Cot and high chair available upon request

Towels and bedding are included as standard

Please note: Maximum of two medium sized, well behaved, quiet dogs welcomed in this cottage. Pets must not be left unattended in the cottage unless they are happy to be caged (cage not provided) and are not likely to bark. We request that they are not allowed in bedrooms or on the furniture and that you pay an additional charge of £30 per dog.

What a beautiful location and

What a beautiful location and place to stay, and thank you for the arrival basket, it was really appreciated. Very clean and a beautiful little garden to sit in. The only downside was the couch, it was so low and getting out even in my 60s was a challenge, I ended up sitting on top of a lot of cushions lol. Thank you so much for a wonderful week.

Thank you for a wonderful stay and for the delicious welcome hamper, a real treat. The cottage was warm, cozy and beautifully furnished, in such a scenic and peaceful location. We stayed in the stables, which was beautiful. Everything had been thought off for our stay. The welcome hamper was full of local produce. Cannot fault. The sheep and lambs were adorable

A beautiful place to stay, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Welcome pack lovely qualify and very tasty! Good base for exploring the area. Beds and bedding very snuggly and living room sofa is sooo comfortable. Would highly recommend.

What can I say! , Farndale cottages are stunning, and the attention to detail is outstanding, they have thought of everything .excellent walks straight out of the cottage the daffodil walk is perfect and great for the dogs, and then at the end you get the bonus of low Mill and the farndale store !!! Which is a delight !!! Can wait to visit again !

Brilliant cottage!! Best welcome pack

Brilliant cottage!! Best welcome pack ever filled with amazing yummy local products. The cottage itself was perfect and the best equipped I’ve ever stayed in. Really clean, quality fixtures & fittings, smart TV’s in each room which worked fine every day. Limited mobile signal but land-line in cottage to use and full free wi-fi to use. Very comfortable beds and choice of sofas/chairs. No grumbles from us and can’t wait to return.
Also pub opposite good food /menu and you can order and take it back to cottage!!

Excellent location for North York moors and coast, Daffy walk on doorstep and excellent food at pub across the road. The Stables had everything we needed and welcone pack ideal for coffe and toast first morning before we got shopping. Washing machine handy for the heatwave we had too. We will be back

Just stayed in the Stables

Just stayed in the Stables for a week with my wife,mum and two Jack Russell’s (Max and Maggie).
The accommodation is spotless ,modern and well furnished throughout.
Great peaceful location with a lovely pub right across the road.
Had a fabulous break and would highly recommend.

I’ve stayed in these cottages

I’ve stayed in these cottages several times now and each time been impressed with the attention to detail in terms of the layout and design of the cottages as well as the welcoming hamper and clean accommodation. The cottages are extremely well-placed for lots of walks – you needn’t take the car out all week if you don’t want to. Farndale is a beautiful part of the country and the place I go to in my mind when I need to restore my soul.

We had a wonderful time at The Stables in Farndale. The cottage was amazing, and the weather was gorgeous. The hamlet is quite isolated and a car is essential. Wi fi was good but we did not have a mobile signal (giff gaff), but for emergencies there is a landline at the cottage. We had a meal at The Feversham Arms which was lovely.

Beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need, lovely welcome pack on arrival, stunning scenery and fabulous walks from your doorstep. 50 yards to pub and 40 min drive to the coast . Definitely be back 5 star rating….home from home property in an absolutely stunning location. Very well designed and thought out, will be recommending to all our friends and family.
