A newly renovated charming cottage, with beautiful far reaching views over the Dale. This stone cottage, located above the small hamlet of Low Mill, is the perfect place for family holidays. The property has 4 bedrooms, sleeping 8 guests in total please note that one of the bedrooms is a bunk room. Off-road parking for 2 cars. A maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome at the property – limited to downstairs only (excluding the bedroom) and would be preferably caged overnight.

This renovated cottage boasts all the amenities required for a relaxing stay. The large kitchen/dining room is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer, and in the adjoining spacious utility room there is a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The light and airy living room has a smart TV and log burner to cosy up to of an evening. There is one ground floor double bedroom, along with beautiful en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. Three more bedrooms (a double, a twin and a bunk room) are on the first floor, and are served by the family bathroom.

Outside, there is a large enclosed garden perfect for family games, whilst the seating on the patio and bbq area provides somewhere to relax and soak up the surroundings.

Wi-Fi is included and there is off-road parking for two cars.

Cot and high chair available upon request

Towels and bedding are included as standard

Please note: Maximum of two medium sized, well behaved, quiet dogs welcomed in this cottage – limited to downstairs only (excluding the bedroom). Dogs must not be left unattended in the cottage unless they are happy to be caged (cage not provided) and are not likely to bark. We request that they are not allowed on the furniture and that you pay an additional charge of £30 per dog.

An excellent place to stay, top-class property, very clean and tidy and the most heavenly views from the garden !Highly recommend any of the properties in Farndale. Can’t wait to see the two new ones open next door to the new Farndale Store ( another excellent facility )

Really comfortable and well-equipped cottage in an amazing location, the views over Farndale are breathtaking. Travelled far and wide from the central North York Moors location, coast beautiful, moors spectacular. Excellent local pub – a proper Dales pub – closeby. Would definitely stay in the cottage again.

Fantastic property with panoramic views. Well equipped with modern kitchen / diner and a utility room.
Really useful having 3 bathrooms when 2 or 3 families are sharing.
The garden is spacious and enclosed which is ideal for younger children.

This is a superbly comfortable cottage for a family or a group of 4 adults/ friends. The star features are location for walking and views and garden, and fantastic kitchen/ utility space, so well provisioned. Such good cooking facilities- and plenty of space for wet gear. (Not used by us- we had the heatwave!) the sitting room is comfortable and cosy. The house is beautifully presented and in excellent working order. Gorgeous bath in the ensuite.

This is a fabulous cottage with a lovely enclosed garden which was safe for the children. The location and views are stunning. It was great to wake up in the morning to see a line of pheasants on the fence behind the cottage! Beautifully presented, very clean and comfortable and a real home from home.

The cottage delivered on all levels. Homely, well furnished and a high standard of finish. It’s very well stocked with everything you could need and good quality items. The location is remote, there is a pub a 45 minute walk away along the river. That was perfect for us and the scenery and landscape at the back of the garden is beautiful. The garden was also very well kept and a great place to enjoy a beer in the evening watching the sun go down. We loved our week in the North Yorkshire Moors.

A modern feel to the whole property whilst retaining a sympathetic feel of a country cottage. Very clean and the quality of the furnishings and decor were great. The views were fantastic and walks from the door were plentiful. It’s in a very quiet location and although next to the road, the traffic is limited. Fantastic location for exploring East and North Yorkshire with good road links, Hutton-le-Hole, Byland Abbey and Rievaulx Abbey but a few of the great places to visit.

It was perfect

Everything about this cottage was 5 star didn’t need to bring anything it was all there. Wonderful to wake up with the sheep in the fields. We would definitely come back here so relaxing all the family enjoyed it.
