With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, this property can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests.

The interior of the farmhouse is beautifully designed, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. The spacious living area boasts a cosy fireplace, comfortable seating, and a flat-screen TV, providing the perfect space for evenings in with family or friends. The fully equipped kitchen comes with all the essentials, including an Everhot stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and large dining table, making it easy for you to prepare delicious meals.

The four bedrooms are sumptuous and relaxing, with comfortable Hypnos beds and plenty of storage space. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, while the remaining two share a bathroom, with a bath and separate shower. Dogs must not be left unattended in the cottage unless they are happy to be caged (cage not provided) and are not likely to bark. We request that they are not allowed on the furniture and that you pay an additional charge of £30 per dog.

Mill Farmhouse

We have sadly returned home after a marvellous family gathering at Mill Farmhouse. The property is truly exceptional and the furnishings and decor are of an extremely high standard, far exceeding that of other rentals we have experienced.

The farmhouse is situated within an idyllic location with its own private garden and with beautiful views of the Dales.

The Farndale Store is on your doorstep and special mention to Nicola who was so pleasant and helpful.

The property has private parking & electric chargers) which is a real bonus. There were several country walk options immediately outside, including a quant 2 mile walk to the pub in Church Houses. How lovely to return to the farmhouse, place some logs on the open fire and kick back and relax.

We all left feeling rather sad, albeit we have made a commitment to return at the earliest opportunity. Congratulations to Farndale Estates.

We have just returned from

We have just returned from Christmas in the Mill Farmhouse. Everything in and around the property was excellent. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to book it again next year. The lady in the shop next door was so kind and my 91 year old mother will miss her fresh bread and cakes every morning. Thank you for looking after us so well.

The location was excellent, just opposite a lovely countryside walk. Conveniently located next door to the Farndale store which sell all the essentials and good quality Yorkshire produce, and lovely ice cream.
The house was beautifully furnished throughout. Garden was immaculate, a little smaller than we had hoped, but still big enough for our needs.

We have been very impressed with this beautiful farmhouse, newly renovated. It is probably the best appointed and stocked self-catering accommodation we have ever been to. All the furnishings and fittings are of the highest quality. The location is beautiful surrounded by moorland and Ferndale Estates were very helpful at all times.

What a lovely, lovely house containing everything you need. The decor and furnishings are of a very high standard. This is sheer luxury. The kitchen is very well equipped and there was a welcome basket filled with local goodies. The private garden at the front overlooks the fields and hills. A very peaceful area to sit and watch the wildlife. The famous Daffodil Walk beside the river up to the pub at High Farndale starts right outside the house. There is a shop next door selling local produce and essentials – including beer and wine.
If you want luxury, peace and fabulous views this is the house for you.
