Farndale Estate Holiday Cottages are luxury cottages in Farndale Estate, in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, enjoying stunning views down the dale and of the moors beyond. Farndale is best known for its annual springtime display of wild daffodils that carpet the banks of the River Dove from Low Mill to Church Houses.
Five of the cottages at Church Houses were originally a collection of farm buildings, which have been renovated to provide luxury accommodation in a tranquil rural setting. Our cottages, each with their own unique characteristics, all benefit from under floor heating, are dog-friendly and have free WiFi and Smart TVs. All have fully equipped kitchens, so you can choose to cook at home, eat out at the local pub at Church Houses or head to one of the many local restaurants. There is also now a shop in the Dale – Farndale Store, where you can buy your staple cooking ingredients, as well as many other necessities and niceties.
The luxurious Old Vicarage has six bedrooms, large farmhouse kitchen, dining room and lounge and beautiful large gardens.
The most recent additions and newly renovated are The Cottage, a two bedroom stone cottage, The Old Vicarage and, new for 2023, Mill Farmhouse, a four bedroom stone cottage and The Byre, a one bedroom barn conversion.
