West View Cottage sleeps 6 and was originally a farmhouse. It maintains many of its unique features, such as the cast iron range fireplace in the kitchen and also a large stone trough in the downstairs bathroom.

West View is the original farmhouse at our Church Houses cottages. The property is listed and retains many of its original features.
To the downstairs there is s the lounge, with flat screen Smart TV, and separate kitchen together with a large bathroom and small utility room.
Upstairs are three bedrooms one with a king size bed, one double room, one with two singles, all fitted with freesat TVs, and a family bathroom.
There is individual room controlled underfloor heating throughout the house as well as a wood burning stove, for those cooler winter nights.
The kitchen has all mod cons, including oven and electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. All rooms have free WiFi.
Free off street parking is provided.
Outside
At the rear of the cottage, there is an enclosed west facing garden with a patio and picnic bench and recliner chairs.
Cot and high chair available upon request
Towels and bedding are included as standard
Please note: Maximum of two medium sized, well behaved, quiet dogs welcomed in this cottage. Pets must not be left unattended in the cottage unless they are happy to be caged (cage not provided) and are not likely to bark. We request that they are not allowed in bedrooms or on the furniture and that you pay an additional charge of £30 per dog.

The local pub, The Feversham Arms, is just along the road. The Farndale Store opened in June 2023 at Low Mill, just a couple of miles away, stocking necessities and niceties. |
