FAQs

Can I charge my electric vehicle at the cottage?

We are in the process of investigating the installation of electric vehicle charging points at Church Houses. In the meantime, we request that you do not use “granny chargers” as our insurance does not cover any damage caused or fire risk.

There are charging points nearby at Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside and Pickering.

Our newer cottages at Mill Farm do have EV charging points.

Yes, there are a number of supermarkets who deliver to Farndale Estate Holiday Cottages, including Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Tesco and Waitrose.
If you are organising a delivery for your first evening, we would advise arranging it for after 6pm, just in case you get stuck in traffic.
