A newly converted 1-bed luxury cottage, in the heart of the North York Moors. Bursting with character, it has its own garden and parking.

Escape to the stunning North York Moors with a stay in our luxurious 1 bedroom en suite holiday cottage. This idyllic retreat offers the perfect combination of comfort and style, providing you with a truly memorable experience.

The Byre is spacious yet cosy, all rooms are warmed by underfloor heating and have free WiFi. The separate lounge, complete with a cosy log burner for those chilly evenings, provides a quiet space to relax, while the dining kitchen with farmhouse table has everything you need to cook up a storm.

The bedroom is a peaceful haven, with a comfortable Hypnos super king bed and plenty of storage space. The bathroom is finished to a high standard, with a walk-in shower and top-of-the-range fixtures and fittings.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, full height fridge/freezer, electric oven and induction hob. There is a utility cupboard housing the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside, the large private garden is the perfect place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. There is plenty of room in the parking area, there are electric vehicle charging points available and storage for bikes. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway or a family holiday, this cottage has everything you need for a truly memorable stay.

Pets must not be left unattended in the cottage unless they are happy to be caged (cage not provided) and are not likely to bark. We request that they are not allowed on the furniture and that you pay an additional charge of £30 per dog.

We had a lovely stay at the Byre the property is done to the highest standard and very well equipped and the bed was amazing 3 very good nights sleep the Farndale store just next door also didn’t disappoint with Naomi at the helm keeping up the high standards what a find she is to the Farndale family

Farndale cottage services are of a high standard. The Bryre provided everything you could ask for and more. Outstanding quality and a superb location and view, we love the wild flower meadow with the added bonus of the Farndale Store on your doorstep which has the best stock and a great shopkeeper. Looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Our stay at the byre

Our stay at the byre has been idyllic. The cottage has been lovingly furnished to an incredibly high standard. Everything you would need for a stay has been provided and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. The bed was the comfiest we have ever slept in on holiday. The garden setting was perfect for star gazing. We stayed for a week during an incredibly hot spell with temperatures averaging over 25 degrees, therefore some garden shade in the form of a parasol would have enabled more use of the space during the day. The Dyson fan was handy. All in all a wonderful relaxing experience. Thank you
