Snilesworth Lodge
We are pleased to introduce Snilesworth Lodge, our new luxury catered accommodation set in the North Yorkshire Moors.
Snilesworth Lodge is an early 19th century shooting lodge built by the Manners Family who held the estate for over 300 years. Guest access through the parkland and rhododendron filled gardens that open up ahead of you to reveal the house. The Lodge has undergone a major refurbishment in 2025 to provide exceptional accommodation designed to the highest specification, by the award-winning interior designer Jessica Brook. With the benefit of complete privacy and exclusivity we are able to offer a luxury private hotel experience. The house has an enviable position with views from many rooms across the moor and open countryside. The 12 luxurious ensuite double bedrooms have all been individually designed, to maximise space and comfort. The house also boasts a formal dining room and drawing room as well as a bar and separate games room all accessed from the welcoming entrance hall and adjoining grand staircase. Our kitchen opens on to the Breakfast Room where you can enjoy delicious, home cooked breakfasts and pastries or lunch parties after a morning of activity or relaxing. The dining room, which affords views across the gardens and wider landscape is ideal for large lunch parties seating 24 people or equally special in the evening when lit by candlelight where our own private chef and waiting staff will look after you. After dinner, the house allows for group gatherings or space to escape and catch up in smaller groups. Superfast broadband is available throughout the house. We can make bespoke arrangements for your stay from spa treatments to guided walks or use of our clay trap as well as lunch or BBQ in our stunning lunch barn set in heart of the moor.
The lodge is tucked away within the Snilesworth Estate with direct access onto Snilesworth Moor yet only minutes from the A19, being 25 minutes north of Thirsk and 35 minutes south from Teesside International Airport. It is 20 minutes from the market town of Northallerton and 25 minutes north of the equally beautiful market town of Helmsley. The combination of space and location make it a very special place to make memories with family and friends for any special occasion, as well as for family holidays, reunions and celebrations, or simply a weekend in the country with friends. Corporate groups will also find this to be a great choice for time away from the office without distraction.
